Officials & Helpers

Athletics is a sport held together by volunteers. We have some of the most dedicated volunteers here in Scotland and the UK, however we always need more help!

Club Volunteers

We actively encourage parent helpers to assist with the running of the club. If this is something that would interest you then fill in the ‘Volunteers Form’ below and return to a coach or the club at nairnathleticclub@gmail.com

Helpers at Competitions

This season (2019) we are required to supply at least 6 technical officials and/or helpers for the RAM Athletics League and we need your help!

We plan to run a ‘Come and Try’ evening, to give any potential helpers a taste of what to expect if you are able to help out at a competition. These will likely be held for an hour on a Tuesday or Thursday at the Maggot during normal training time!

You don’t need any previous experience, just the willingness to help out!

If you have any questions please feel free to speak to any of the coaches at training or email the club; officials@naaac.co.uk

Becoming a qualified Official

If you are interested in becoming a qualified Official, Scottish Athletics provide Assistant Official and Level 1 courses in each discipline (Track, Field, Timekeeping, Photo Finish, Starter and Endurance). Details can be found on the Scottish Athletics Officials page (Scottish Athletics Officials Page)
