Nairn Area Amateur Athletics Club (NAAAC) is a small, friendly club catering for all abilities and all aspects of the sport of athletics, ranging from track and field to cross country. We have established age groups in Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, Under 20 and at Senior level and compete at a variety of competitions from local open meets to national championships.
Club training mainly takes place at our track ‘The Maggot’. We have a full 400m grass track with infield facilities for field events.
Winter training takes place at various venues in Nairn including Kingsteps and the Nairn Community Centre. Please see our ‘Training’ page for current information.
All Club activities are delivered by a team of dedicated volunteers. Club coaches are also unpaid volunteers who have gone through UK Athletics coaching courses to obtain a UKA coaching qualification.
The club currently competes in the North division of the RAM Athletics League (Track and Field) and the North of Scotland Cross Country League.
